He Cannot See

We are living among multitudes of blind individuals, blind to the Kingdom of God. There are probably more spiritually blind people in your world than those with spiritual sight and understanding. These individuals are not only blind to the kingdom of God, they cannot enter it.

John 3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

The spiritually blind in your life are in a desperate condition. Are you at least praying for them? Are you sharing the gospel with them? Are you supporting financially and in prayer other believers who do?

Matthew 9:38: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

There are multitudes of books available that can help you learn to share the gospel. They have titles like How to Win a Soul, How to Share Your Faith etc. There are several How to articles that can help in this website. If you know anyone who shares the gospel regularly, they would love to help you learn how. What do we pray about the most? Often it is the health of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Adrienne Rogers gave this thought: We pray more to keep our brothers and sisters in Christ out of Heaven than we pray for the lost to get saved. We ought to pray for the health of our brothers and sisters but also that they will have an open door and be willing share the gospel with the lost. Pray that for yourself too.

Colossians 4:3: Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

The way this spiritual blindness is cured is to receive Jesus into one*s heart.

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Becoming born again and becoming a child of God refer to the same event. There are many passages in the Bible that teach about this horrible spiritual blindness.

John 12:40: He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Matthew 13:13: Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people*s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

1 Corinthians 2:14: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Jeremiah 17:6: For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
